“Girlfriends of Grace” exists to WIN DISCIPLE & SEND women for Jesus!!

Colossians 2:2

I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself.

Our vision is that we will:

1) Inspire and encourage women to deepen their relationship with Jesus through the study of His Word, Prayer and Worship.

2) We desire to be inviting & culturally relevant where all women will  feel safe, loved and valued while being encouraged, equipped and empowered.

3) As we focus on ministry together, we will have a profound impact in our community for Christ and we will make lasting friendships.

Student Ministries

Saturday, August 30th, 2008 | Ministries |

Ridgeview Student Ministries

Our society and culture bombard young people with all kinds of messages. This makes it tough to filter through and discern the right path for one to follow. We want to help our students find and follow the path that leads them to an understanding of the reality of Jesus Christ, His Kingdom, and how their lives fit within it.

RSM is intentional about meeting and connecting with students where they are, no matter where that is. We desire to build lasting relationships that will challenge them to personally engage and respond to the truth, reality, and message of Jesus Christ! Connections and relationships are formed and developed strategically through worship services, small groups, discipleship opportunities, monthly events, outreaches, retreats, camps, and a whole lotta fun!

As young people encounter Christ through RSM, we will see them know Jesus, grow in their faith, and change the world in which they live!

Parent Downloads are held once a quarter to keep parents “in the know”.

Ascent Middle School (Grades 6-8)

Sunday Service (10:45 am)

Middle School students are encouraged to join the adults in the main sanctuary for a time of praise and worship in singing. Afterwards the students will gather in Portable #2 for a time of teaching in God’s word.  This service is designed with them in mind…providing opportunities to grow in their faith, play a part, and bring their friends!

Wednesday Groups

Middle school small groups help students build relationships with each other and Jesus!  Group leaders facilitate discussion in a way that gets the students talking and learning to apply God’s Word in their lives today.  Participants meet from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Back Porch and begin with a time of worship before moving into age/gender specific groups.

Events

Monthly events give middle school students time to hang-out, have fun, and grow in their faith!  Events may be for Ascent Middle School only,  while some will give them opportunity to join with The Ridge Youth, and others may be through their designated small group.

Worship Ministries

Saturday, August 30th, 2008 | Ministries |

OUR PURPOSE for worship at Ridgeview Church is simply to facilitate an atmosphere for God and welcome The Holy Spirit to come and meet with His people at every service. Our desire as a worship team is to prepare the congregation to meet with the Lord and remain transparent in that ministry. We do this by…

  1. Inviting Jesus (to be seated on our praises)
  2. Ministering The Cross
  3. Eliminating Distractions
  4. Blessing God’s People- “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6: 24-26
  5. Worshipping first and performing second

It is our heart to Lead kids to abundant life in Jesus in everything they do, Apply God’s truth through every day living, and make the Bible come alive, while Loving others through examples Christ has displayed to us through the word, and finally to Know themselves by understanding who God has made them and having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Welcome to Ridgeview Kids!

Ridgeview Kids is a safe, fun and exciting place for your kids to learn about God! At Ridgeview Kids, we LOVE kids! Whether it’s our fun and engaging kid worship services, our emphasis on friendly interaction, or even check-in and check-out, we exist to serve kids and their families! We look forward to having you join us this weekend!

At Ridgeview Kids you can expect:

Engaging and age-appropriate environments  At Ridgeview Kids, coming to church can be an adventure. Through our environments, we set the stage to teach kids about God in a creative and relevant way.

Safe and secure experiences  Your child’s safety is our top priority. We’ve taken steps necessary to ensure a safe and secure environment. From facility design, thorough policies and volunteer background checks and training, parents can rest assured that their children are in safe hands.

Friendly and relational care  Beautiful environments and fun programs are great, but where we strive to excel is in our relational care. We work hard to create communities where kids develop healthy and strong relationships with peers and adult leaders who serve as spiritual role models and mentors.

Your first visit

We’d love to have your kids visit us this Sunday! Once at our children’s information desk you will be shown to an age appropriate classroom for your child.  Each week you will personally check your child in.  Parents will be given a card indicating their child’s pick up number and asked to sign in your child and indicate allergies or special instructions.  If the parent needs to be notified during service their child’s pick up number will be displayed on the display screen during the worship service.  The card must be handed to the volunteer when picking up your child.

We look forward to continuing the work that God has started in the men of the church.  Whether you made it to the retreat or not, plan on joining us select Monday nights at 6:30 on Ridgeview’s Back Porch for dinner, worship, teaching and fellowship. Be intentional and come and connect with God and other men!  Click HERE for more information or to join the group! For more info:  John Dembeck at john@ridgeview.net.

We believe fellowship with other Christian men is vital to your spiritual growth.  Ridgeview Church provides men with regular connection points to build their relationships with the Lord and with one another, including

MEN’S BREAKFAST –  Held select Saturdays from 8:00am to 9:30am.  We will meet at the church in the Fellowship Hall.  You are invited to come worship and fellowship with other men, study God’s Word, and enjoy a delicious breakfast.  It is a time of leaning into God’s Word together as men and an opportunity to get to know one another in a meaningful way.  For more information, contact John Dembeck at john@ridgeview.net

MEN’S SMALL  GROUPS

We have several men’s groups that meet at different times in the week.  This is the best way that you can get to know other men and build relationships. We are always looking for opportunities to connect and will continue to add additional groups as they become available.

MEN’S RETREAT

A once a year gathering of men offering a time of respite, refreshing and renewal. We take a trip away to a camp site or retreat center and sharpen each other through the study of God’s Word, prayer, singing, small group sharing and testimony, recreational activities, and lots of good eating.
