Children’s Ministry
Even a quick glance at the gospels will show you that Jesus loved kids! He even instructs all those who follow Him to become as little children - humble and eager to learn from Him. At Ridgeview, we desire to share Jesus’ love with the children we minister to.
We invite you to explore everything Ridgeview Church has to offer you and your children. All of our curriculum is Bible-centered and we even have a specially designed teaching time for toddlers. Whatever the ages of your children, you can rest in knowing Ridgeview’s Children’s Ministry provides a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment for your children to grow in their love for the Lord.
Scripture teaches how important it is that we pass on God’s truths to our children. To us, there is no greater gift we can give them. To give them Jesus is to give them all that God’s promises hold for us. Our Children’s Ministry is anchored in this principle.
Whether you’re a parent, a dedicated servant, or a visitor to our ministry, our greatest desire is that you find Jesus in everything we do!
Weekly Schedule
On Sunday mornings, children ages 0-4 are welcome to be dropped off in our nursery just prior to each of our morning services. When you arrive, you’ll find several ministry servants available to help you find the right classroom for your child.
At Ridgeview, we want children to be a part of our worship of God. So, kids ages 5-11 are kept in the sanctuary with their parents during praise & worship. Afterwards, they’re dismissed to their classrooms for the remainder of the service.
Baby Dedications
At Ridgeview Church, baby dedications are a joyous time for parents to publicly dedicate their baby to God, and to commit themselves to raising that baby by their example and by the discipline and teaching of Jesus Christ. It is a time of making parents accountable before God and our congregation, to be purposeful in raising their child in a biblically grounded Christian home.
Baby dedications are also a time for our church family to pledge its support of these families in the days ahead, helping them in any way they can to raise their children to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We’re always looking for new volunteers that have a heart to see our kids come to know Jesus’ love. We’re completely flexible, too. Serve only as much or as little as your schedule will allow.
