Registration Packets available at the connection center in mid- March or register online HERE

Vision

“…to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of satan to God, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.” Acts 26:18

Mission

The Navajo Mission Trip is a journey to Dilkon, Arizona, a part of the Navajo Nation. God is moving in the Dilkon community and we are humbled and privileged to minister together with this church. Ministry opportunities include:  Vacation Bible School, youth ministry, women’s ministry, possible work project, community ministry, as well as opportunities to minister to the Navajo believers.   Humility, a servant’s heart and a willingness to work are essential in ministering to the Navajo people and for building team unity.

Prayer

Being a part of the mission team is an important decision – important for you, for the team, and for those that you will be ministering to.  There is a great spiritual battle that exists on the reservation. In light of this, it is important to be in a Christ centered frame of mind when considering participating in this ministry. Ridgeview leadership asks that you commit to pray over the decision to participate in this ministry trip for at least 2 weeks before making a decision.

Preparation

It is important to prepare spiritually and practically for the ministry.  Our primary meetings are May 19th, June 2nd, June 23rd, July 7th.  In addition, there may be meetings for specific ministry teams, team groups and opportunities for prayer and worship

Purpose

God has a passion for the Navajo Nation and longs for His truths to be shared in this community on the reservation.  We have the opportunity to spread the truth of God’s love by: 1) praying faithfully for the community of Dilkon, the Navajo believers and the Navajo Nation  2) serving, loving, respecting, equipping and encouraging the Navajo believers  3) sharing the Gospel through VBS, community ministry and personal evangelism  4) encouraging those who know the Lord to a deeper relationship with the Lord  5) partnering with the believers in Dilkon in ministering to the community.
