I surrendered my life to Jesus when I was 9 years old while at a Christian Summer Camp in California. I’ve been married to my amazing and beautiful wife Joyce, who is truly a gift from God, since 1995. God has blessed us with 3 Children: Alyssa (2000), Nathan (2003) and Luke (2006).
God called me into ministry while I was attending college. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California San Diego in 1994. After graduation, I attended Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 1998.
God called me first into hospital chaplaincy and then into pastoral ministry.
I have been serving as the Lead Pastor of Ridgeview Church since December of 2003. My passion in ministry is to help others come to know and love our LORD through the power of His Word. One of my life verses is John 8:31-32, "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'”
I am the son of a coach and love just about every sport there is, especially basketball and football. When I have time for fun, I love to play sports, hike, fish, and travel.

I came to join the Ridgeview Leadership team in 2019. I have been a church planter, Pastor, and short term missionary for 20 years. I felt called of the Lord to come alongside Pastor Matt to encourage and equip the staff and body of our fellowship. I am married to my wife of 25 years Leticia, and I am the father of Ellyse, Sara, Jake, and Beth, and the grandfather of Charlotte. Through my many years of ministry, I have  learned that the verse God gave me on the day I was saved still holds true for all of ministry - 2 Corinthians 11:3, "But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." 

I grew up at Ridgeview Church, interned in the youth group as a high school student, and served as Youth Pastor as a young adult. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor's degree in English, taught in the public school system for 10 years, and got my Master's degree in Education Administration. I am married to Chanel, my high school sweetheart, and we have three elementary school age children. Red, Ruby and Rocky. I am thrilled to be back at my home church, serving in ministry full time as the Student Pastor at Ridgeview Church.

I gave my life to Jesus as a young boy and have always had a love for music. I married my wife, Misty, in 2008 and have four beautiful daughters. When I have free time, I like to write music, travel, and watch movies with the family. I am also the 7th and 8th grade boys youth leader. I like coffee. 

We moved to Rockwall, TX from San Diego, CA in 2003. We have three teenage children and two dogs... They keep our lives full of love! My passion is learning God's Word and I live to share His truth and love. I enjoy long walks, especially in the mountains or on a beach. I am an AGGIE Fan. I like to travel around the world. I like Janette Oake books and movies and I love to visit with a good friend while drinking hot tea on a comfy couch.

We have been married for over 30 years and have 3 grown children. We have been serving in ministry for most of those 30 years. We currently head up the Marriage Ministry at Ridgeview Church and have been involved in the Marriage Ministry here for the past 6 years. Through our many years together, God has shown us how to live out His Word in our lives and in our marriage. He has given us a heart to show others how to do the same. Through our own healed and reconciled marriage, we have a heart to come alongside other married couples in difficult situations and walk with them, bringing the hope that they can have through Christ.

I began working at Ridgeview in 2017. I have a B.A. in Behavioral Science and a Masters Degree in Sociology. My husband, Michael, and I have three furry dogs who are our "foster failures.” Each dog wiggled their way into our hearts while waiting for their forever homes. Before we knew it, our peaceful quiet family of two became a sometimes muddy, often stinky, and always hairy family of five. When I’m not cleaning up after one of the boys, taking them for a walk, or playing with them, you’ll find me in the kitchen sampling something delicious my husband is creating for us to enjoy while we watch a baseball or hockey game on TV. One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 12:12, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."

My family moved to Rockwall in 2015 and we began attending Ridgeview in early 2016. I started working at Ridgeview later that year in the preschool and the following year switched over to working for the church. I am married to my amazing husband, Aaron, and we have two wonderful children. Much of our free time is spent supporting our children in their activities, coordinating band and dance props, and hanging out in our backyard with friends and family. Romans 12:2 is one of my favorite verses – “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

I have been attending Ridgeview Church with my family since 2016. We immediately jumped into serving with the Children's ministry during Sunday services and Adventure Kids. I accepted a position with Ridgeview Preschool in 2017. My husband is Justin and together we have two children. Much of our free time is spent attending various family events and supporting our children in their activities. I love Jesus and am grateful that He calls me His daughter!
